The perfect party starter. Extremely refreshing!
1 – 750 ml bottle Merlot (inexpensive is better)
1/3 c. brandy
1/4 c. apple juice
1/4 c. orange juice
2-4 T. sugar
1 orange, sliced
1 apple, peeled and sliced
1 sliced orange for garnish
In a glass pitcher, mix all ingredients with 2T. of the sugar. Taste, and add more sugar accordingly.
Cover pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
When ready to serve, add a half of an orange slice to the rim of the glass for garnish.
